Samuel began his career behind the chair over thirty years ago with the world renowned Toni&Guy hairdressing team, where he spent 14 years mastering his technique as a colorist in the salon and eventually on stages all over Europe and North America. After departing Toni&Guy he underwent intensive training with industry icons such as Anthony Mascolo, John Sahag, Vivienne Mackinder and many others to fine tune his cutting and styling skills, eventually mastering the precision and knowledge necessary to offer all services to any client. It goes without saying that Samuel has the skill set to provide his clients the exact look they desire. Samuel is highly sought after for his artful and clean approach to balayage, his preferred method for applying color and highlights. Samuel has also developed quite a reputation for his barbering skills. He may not technically be a “barber,” but his clipper work and traditional grooming skills are fine tuned and ready to impress anyone in his chair.

Jessy was born to be a hair dresser. As a young girl she spent hours preparing her Barbie Doll’s for “dance class;” she braided, styled, and even colored their hair with markers and chalk. Her dreams came true after graduating from Assisted Canela Cosmetology School in 2013. Her talents were quickly recognized by Restoration Salon founder, Tim Weber, and in 2015 she joined the Restoration team. Jesse’s ability to cut, color, and style hair is absolutely top-notch, but her light shines brightest while creating the lightest blondes or the most daring fashion shades in Chicago. Her passion to make clients look and feel their very best has given rise to her blossoming career. She is a happy, young at heart, beautiful women who knows how to make all of her clients look and feel amazing. “Being a hair dresser gives me the opportunity to change people’s lives. My main goal in this industry is to make my clients glow.”

Gabriel started his Cosmetology training in Mexico City at the young age of 17. In 1994 he relocated to the USA and began working his magic in Chicago’s Gold Coast, worked for Paul Redher Salon, Ivan Noel Salon, Sho Studio.He has received advanced training at the elite Sassoon academy in cutting, Hair Color. He had worked with different Color Brands (Wella Professional, Schwarzkopf Professional, Redken, Clairol,)Thermal Reconditioning (AKA Japanese thermal straightening) and Balayage techniques. Aside from hair, Gabriel has worked for Christian Dior and Elizabeth Arden, specializing in make-up application and skin care. For over a twenty years Gabriel has made a name for himself as one of Andersonville’s most in-demand hair stylist, and has proven his love for the neighborhood by continuing his career here at Restoration Salon.(Now as a Owner) Outside of the salon, Gabriel’s other passion is healthy living and teaching Yoga as a certified instructor.

I have been at the forefront of the salon industry for 30 years. I got my start in Boston on the famed Newbury Street where I worked for 15 years before relocating to Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood. I then moved to Los Angeles and really stepped out of my comfort zone and learned from some of the top stylist in Los Angeles. I believe in precision dry cuts and achieving a natural looking hair color. From ombre to balayage, I can incorporate whatever style you are looking for.
